EXHIBITION: AN ISLAND VILLAGE

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

This project originates from Guildford, Western Australia. As a resident, I want to showcase some of my neighbours most amazing photographs, stories, business and the landscape that makes this town feel like a sleepy village and a bustling city all in one.

WHAT TO DO:

I'm looking for photographs, business, historic buildings, landmarks and life story. Anything from the town of Guildford you would like to submit is perfect. You could just take a picture, or have a picture of a duck along the bank of a flooded flood plain from three years ago, a new (or old) business venture, or a beautiful family portrait from last week under the sugar gums.  A map of the historic walks around town, a big fish you caught 10 years ago on the banks. As always, It's up to you, all I ask for is participation, camaraderie and a bit of artistic, historic or nostalgic flair.

INFORMATION TO PROVIDE:

If you want to submit a written piece, you do not have to have any artwork to accompany it. If you want to, you can include old photographs, or new ones. You can have your own self portrait if you would like. I will need a name to credit the work so please include this, or submit it as *anonymous*
