"The family left the nest the morning after they hatched and were safely escorted to the river by school staff, where the children continued to see them for many weeks.
such an educationally minded mumma duck to lay her eggs in the one tree that every single child walks past.
each day there'd be a new one until there were 8. papa duck took turns at the nest too."

ALL the seasons, visually represented. The stories of our island village.
Super supportive of the community - great local instagram page!
Where would we be without the Historical Society!
Wizards with hair. And with confidence too. These gals are legends.
The Friends of Guildford Library are a group of volunteers who meet in the library at 5.30pm every 4th Thursday of the month to talk about things we can do in or for the library to make the most of this service for the community. They would love more members to Join and be a part of it!
Heeeeyyyy!
Now that you can see what I've put together, hAS IT MADE YOU THINK OF ANYTHING? it's not too late to send in a submission!
After this Final exhibition, I'm thinking of evolving this site into a big feature directory, a communal space to find local business, see pictures or fun things to do.
it will be great for those who don't have facebook or just don't want to scroll through posts. if you would like to be involved, really all you need to submit is the info you want to share, or photographs if you would like to have them featured in an easy (and free) way to show your mates your cool snaps. Only catch is it must be from a suburb in the city of swan catchment. Not exclusive to guildford though!
email me at swanriversocial@mail.com or find me on facebook.
tHANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS SUPPORTED ME ON THIS ARTISTIC ADVENTURE. eSPECIALLY MY DAD. xX
Cheers!
